License for xcvu37p-fsvh2892-2LV-e-es1 (Part2) ?

Jump to solution

I seems that I was too eager to accept the solution (see: 'License for xcvu37p-fsvh2892-2LV-e-es1' message) -- Having installed the license, we are still getting exact same problem!

It's also of a concern that out-of-box HBM example design does not have clean timing. While that seems like a completely different issue, it may still somehow be related to licensing (or tool setup).

Hello @chili.chips,

It looks like you've generated an incorrect license.

You need a license that is called  "VU+ HBM Special Bitstream License...".

Have you access to generate this license?

If not, then you'd first need to request access to the below UltrScale FPGA Errata Lounge:

https://www.xilinx.com/member/forms/registration/ultrascale_fpga_errata.html

Once access is approved and granted, a license called "VU+ HBM Special Bitstream License" will be added for you then.

With this license, you can then eliminate your licensing issue.

If you have any questions for me, please let me know.

Kind Regards,
Anatoli Curran,
Xilinx Technical Support

Hi @chili.chips,

1. Provide license file of this ES1 device to evaluate.

2. Run "report_environment -file <filepath>/env.txt" in tcl console and provide env.txt to evaluate.

Hi @chili.chips,

For bitstream to generate successfully for ES1 devices, you should have the "ES1_bitgen" feature along with the ES1 feature.

... thank you all for the tips.

We are working with a Xilinx-dedicated Avnet FAE to get us the required license... thus keeping this thread open until we can positively confirm that the problem is solved
