Licensing problem with ISE Design Suite 14.1

Jump to solution

ISE Design Suite 14.7 crashes when File->Open Project is selected.  The software ran fine on Windows 7.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue.  Any suggestions?

Hi @jcwilli5

You can run 32-bit tools using start menu. See below snapshot:

Thanks,

Hello @jcwilli5,

Which version of ISE are you exactly using? Title mentions it to be 14.1 but description says that it is 14.7.

Which OS are you using?

Check below AR if it applies

@jcwilli5

Can you try running the tool with 32-bit settings? Did you try using command line flow?

Thanks,
Anusheel

The version is 14.7.  Getting rid of the .zip files did not help.

@jcwilli5,

You mentioned it was fine with Windows 7 so did you upgrade/change OS? If yes, then please be sure you are using supported OS of ISE 14.x:
