I'm using Vivado 2016.2 now.
I found the PC ram usage keep rising when I use Vivado.
Even I'm not run synthesis\implementation,etc.
I just edit IP\update IP status,etc.
AS the ram rising, Vivado often stuck during update IP status.
I force close and reopen, everything goes fine again,
but the ram usage keep rising again during my using, and
finally stuck again...
My PC OS is Windows7 64bit, RAM-8GB. The usage of ram for vivado
could rise up to 6GB above(not go higher because PC ram usage already 99%).
I tried in another station PC which has RAM of 32GB, the ram
usage of vivado could get 10GB above and still keep rising.
How many RAM should vivado need? Or it just keep use ram when
there still available? Untill it stucks?
I confused because I found vivado often stuck there....
P.S. I don't know if I post at the right board, Sorry if not, casue I
haven't found board about vivado.
Thank you all.

Have you enabled IP cache? If so can you please try disabling it and see if the issue persists
We have another issue reported when Edit in IP packager causes memory leak. Can you please try in 2016.4 and see if the issue persists?

Thanks for quick replying.
I just use the defaut setting of vivado after installation.
I'll check if IP cache is enabled and try.
I'll let you know if it works.

Yes sure and try with 2016.3 or 2016.4 and see if you are seeing the issue.

I found the IP cache for the project is already disabled for default.
Is there any other possibility for causing that?
Or I need try 2016.3 or 2016.4?

Please try in 2016.4 then.
