Publicly Share WebPACK Bitstream

Jump to solution

I have a project for which I would like to share not just my source files, but also the generated bitstream by Vivado (WebPACK license) publicly (let's say on GitHub) to make it more accessible for people not wanting to install the whole Vivado suite. I tried to look through the license agreement, but couldn't really find the fitting passage which would either allow or forbid this.

Does anybody know or have experience, if sharing the generated bitstream publicly when using the free Vivado WebPACK license is fine?

As you say, the Xilinx EULA is the place to look for an answer to your question.  I will not attempt to translate the legalese found in the EULA (mostly because I'm unable).  However, comments from @anatoli in the following thread may help.
