Unable to start Vivado in Ubuntu

Jump to solution

Hi,

I had installed Vivado 2015.3 on my Ubuntu system following the guidelines in the attached PDF. While running Synthesis, memory got exhausted and I decided to restart the system. After restarting, I am trying to invoke Vivado from the bash command prompt but it does not start.

The command prompt looks like this:

sudo vivado &
[3] 3355

I am trying to open Vivado in the same path where my top level design (.vhd) file is residing.

Please help.
