Valid license was not found for feature 'Synthesis' and / or device 'xc7vx330t

Hello,

Based on what I was told via the following link https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/42074.html

"A purchased license allows you to target all Xilinx CPLD and FPGA devices, and run all Xilinx applications, which you have purchased (including bitstream generation)."

But colleagues present the following problem:

[Common 17-345] A valid license was not found for feature 'Synthesis' and / or device 'xc7vx330t'.

Please run the Vivado License Manager for assistance in determining

which features and devices are licensed for your system.

Resolution: Check the status of your licenses in the Vivado License Manager.

For debug help search Xilinx Support for "Licensing FAQ".

If you are using a license server, verify that the license server is up and running a version of the xilinx daemon that is compatible with the version of Xilinx software that you are using.

Please note that Vivado 2017.3 and later requires upgrading your license server tools to the Flex 11.14.1 tools.

Please confirm with your license admin that the correct version of the license server tools are installed.

- But the license server is up and running well.

Do you have any suggestion on this ?

Hi @andreac_avnet ,

Please check if your license has a valid version limit, refer to the following Answer record to check the version limit:

https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/33770.html

Also, check if those license features can be seen in VLM, if not then maybe the license server or environment variable is not set up properly.

Refer to the following user guide on how to install license key file: https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2020_1/ug973-vivado-release-notes-install-license.pdf#page=23

If your license has a valid version then share the following files to check this issue:

  1. License file(.lic)
  2. Run the below command from Vivado TCL console and share the generated xinfo.txt file, run pwd to know the location of this file.

    report_environment -file xinfo.txt

  3.  Navigate to /Xilinx/Vivado/Vivado_version/bin/unwrapped/lnx64.o or win64.o. and run the below command to check if the server is up and running.

         lmutil lmstat -a -c port@server
