I have just purchased a KC705 development board and created a new VIVADO license with the attached voucher. Unfortunately, VIVADO reports a license error during the synthesis!

It looks like Vivado doesn't know where your Vivado license is.
Can you please point your XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to the location where you have stored this license (e.g. /home/.../.Xilinx/ folder) and then close and re-open Vivado and then see if you are still seeing the same error or not?

i have checked the installation with TCL => "report_environment"!
The reported license information looks identical to the configuration in the vlm!
=> "Host Id Matches" is YES
=> "License Validity" is OKAY
=> "File Name" returns the path to the license file!

The licensing info in VLM and in the report_environment will be the same, so that is why you see the same in both case.
However, seeing the right licenses in these reports doesn't mean Vivado will be able to find these when you run Synthesis.
Based on what you have shown, it doesn't know where this license is. Therefore, please point your XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to the location where you have stored this license (e.g. /home/.../.Xilinx/ folder) and then close and re-open Vivado and then see if you are still seeing the same error or not?
Can you give this a try and report back with the output please? Thanks

I'm not sure but I think the problem was the XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE environment variable!
The working shell script I use for starting VIVADO:
