Hello @swa_mi ,

As correctly indicated by @forrestp , this particular IP Core license isn't included in the Vivado software licenses.
However, indeed, you can obtain an evaluation license or purchase a Full jesd204 IP Core lic.

I can see you even have decided to work with an evaluation license for now and have already obtain this lic.

Please note that even if you had no licenses at all, this IP Core should still be in the IP Catalogue and all you'd see then, a "Design_Linking" licensing status instead of Hardware Evaluation or Bought (if you have a full license in place).

However, having or not having license, this doesn't take part in seeing or not being able to see this jesd204 IP Core in the IP Catalog.

I've just disabled all of my licenses, have opened Vivado and can easily locate this IP Core in the IP Catalog, e.g.:

To me, it seems like the device you've selected for your design is not compatible with JESD204.

If I right-click this IP Core and select "View Compatible Families", i see this list:

Therefore, please confirm what exact device/part is in your design?

Try xc7vx1140tflg1928-1 as in my case, and then see if you can detect this IP Core in the IP Catalog list or not?

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Has this been answered in another board (network and connectivity)? The answer seems to be "The Xilinx JESD204 core is not included with Vivado. You can get an evaluation version from the Xilinx website, but for the full one you have to buy a license."
