I am selecting "get free Licenses- Vivado_Webpack,sdk,free IP and more

It should traverse to xlilix link for further steps.

But nothing is working. Can you please help.

Thanks

Re: license management in Vivado

Hi,

Currently Activation based licensing is not supported with Virtual machine.

Check this AR#http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/60485.html

FYI.. Ubuntu is not supported OS.

Only these Operating systems are supported with Vivado 2014.2

Re: license management in Vivado

Hi,

Why Xilinx tools are not supported in VM’s ? Is it intentional or this is something you haven’t tested so for Virtual machine ?

Thanks

Maha

Re: license management in Vivado

Hi,

From 2014.3 activation based licensing is supported with Virual Machines(tentatively).

In earlier versions it is not tested on Virtual Machines.

Re: license management in Vivado

Hello @dacu,

yes, Unsupported mostly like not tested or recommended.
But few customer workaround the tool to work with Ubuntu.
Xilinx won't guarantee if it work or not.

Thanks,
Yash
