website refuses my reset password

I received an email with this content:

 

Our records indicate that you have not logged into Xilinx.com in the past year. If you would like keep your account on Xilinx.com, please log-in.

If you do not wish to keep your account, do nothing and we will delete your profile.

Regards,
Xilinx Management

 

I clicked the link.

Tried my credentials and they failed.

Clicked Reset Password.

Went through that rigmarole and reset the password.

Went to login.

Login page told me my username and password were incorrect.

Clicked Reset Password.

Went through that rigmarole again until I entered the same password and the page responded I could not use the same password.

 

So obviously, the site knows that password is associated with my username.

But the login page continues to refuse me.

 

An hour later after all that, and after I created this new account so that I could actually get some support, I am begging you guys to help me out and get my original name and reset password to work as they should.

 

How do I get you my original username?

I am reluctant to post it here until told to.

I hope we can get this resolved before my original account is deleted.

I have just checked our system and you still have your previous Xilinx.com profile active with user name of 'michaeltt'. This is the account that you have created last year (or earlier), as i can see you have opened a few Service Requests back in 2017 using this particular profile.

 

Are you not able to log in to Xilinx using User ID (michaeltt) and the associated Password? You can reset your password using this link, if needed: https://www.xilinx.com/registration/forgot-password.html.
