DDR3 memory controller described in UG388 for Spartan-6

Jump to solution

Does anyone know if this controller can handle the newer 256Megx16bit DDR3.  The UG388 condones up to 128Megx16, but it is, after all, old.

Hi srdatucsd

It maybe OK.

But I'd like to know the following to resolve your question.

Q1) Could you show me part number of 256Mbit x 16bit DDR3

Q2) What frequency do you use ? DDR3-800 ?

Thank you.

Best regards,
