HBM access show "decode error"

1. Platform : VCU128

2. Configuration : 4GB, select LEFT

3. When I do "AXI write" by address = 33'h0_0000_0008, I find the "BRESP = 3". Then, the content of "AXI read" is wrong.

     I check from AXI protocol, "BRESP = 3" means "DEC error".

     Based on the description of pg276 document, 33'h0_0000_0000 should be the range of HBM MC0.

     The following waveform is captured by ILA.

Hello @hankchen ,

 

I’m no sure what occurs on the VCU128 form your ILA.  The first step is to compare between simulation and ILA.  Please try to do simulation with your addressing.

Can I check by inserting ILA directly ?

I’m not sure what you mentioned.  Is your previous waveform captured by ILA?  I think it would be better to compare between ILA and simulation.

Yes, the waveform is captured by ILA. All of the signals are connected with HBM module directly. Is it necessary to show all the waveform of HBM ports ?
