MIG UI clock doesnt seem correct

Jump to solution

I have a MIG Artix DDR2 design. I have a mem clock of 320MHz and that should give a UI clock of 80 MHz. But I think that I am actually getting 40MHz. If I look at the MMCM that is generated in MIG, the UI clock comes from CLKFBOUT. The parameters are

CLK in period 12.5ns = 80MHz

CLKFBOUT MULT = 15

CLKOUT0 DIVIDE = 30

Does this not give 40MHz?

UI clock freqeuncy should be (Clk input frequency / DIVCLK_DIVIDE).
