Uart PS

hi all

I have a problem. I have a zybo board zynq7000, I want use UART PS, what Pins use zybo for send and receive data? i need a code for send and receive a message.

please help me. Thanks.

Have you checked the user manual?

The zybo has the PS uart hardwired to the USB port, so you can communicate with the PS using a terminal.

If what you want is a "pure" UART (RX, TX, GND), I think (don't know much that board) you will have to use the GPIO pins, what you have to do is:

1 - Start a vivado project with a block design

2 - Instantiate the Zynq PS on it

3 - Double click on it to configure it

4 - Look at the 'peripherals' tab and look for UART, there will be a number of choices  (MIO pins)

5 - Check with the schematic if any RX-TX pair are available as GPIO (maybe none of them are)
