AMP CPU1 upload by Linux

Hi,

Has anyone been able to route any of the interrupts from the shared peripherals (SPIs) to the 2nd cpu in an OpenAmp design with linux running on cpu 0?

If both cores are running baremetal, I can route the interrupts to the 2nd cpu without any problems.

Thanks,

Misha

Re: AMP CPU1 upload by Linux

Are you going to have both Linux and your baremetal use the same SPI device and listen to the same interrupt?

I am not sure if you can do it, since as long as Linux sees the interrupt it will ack it.

It might be better if one of your CPU poll the interrupt status registers in this case

Re: AMP CPU1 upload by Linux

I would like the remote processor (baremetal) to be the only processor to deal with the device and its interrupt. So I would like linux to bypass the interrupt and not ack on it.
