BRAM read

Jump to solution

Hello,

I am trying to read the contents of a coe file that I uploaded in my true dual port BRAM using UART. It is only reading the first index data although the  counter for incrementing the address is working. Can anybody suggest something how I can check this problem?

Thanks

Hi Anjali,

How about using Chipscope to confirm the data out of the BRAM is correct?

That will help you isolate the RAM reading part from the UART logic.

Thanks,
Andres

Hey,

Thank you for the reply.

After debugging I found that my reset was always set and that is why address was not incrementing.
