Decoupling for Multiple Zynq Device Options

Hi,

We are designing a board that will accept either the 030, 035 or 045 Zynq 7000 devices.

Referring to tables 3-1 and 3-2 in the Zynq-7000 PCB Design Guide numbers of capacitors vary between the three device 'sizes'.

My question is where, for example, the VCCO per bank rail may require only one 47uF or 100uF capacitor for the 030 or 045 devices, the 035 devices do not require a 47uF or 100uF but do require one 0.47uF, can I just fit the devices required for the largest device (the 045) or must I fit, in this case, both the 47/100uF AND the 0.47uF capacitors.

The same issue may arise with other rails and the same question applies.

Thanks.

Ian
