Hello,
When connecting FPGA pin to multiple sinks and configuring the pin as output what considerations should be made?
In my case, I want to connect the FPGA pin to two SP4T RF switches (PE42441) control lines.
I want to avoid using a fanout IC to achieve the below.
Which metrics (FPGA Output Current, IC Input Current) should I look for in the part datasheet?
Best Regards.
Mustafa

hi @mcetinsoy
Please refer to "Unidirectional Multi-Drop Topographies" in PCB user guide for a specific FPGA family.
For example, if you are using 7 series FPGA, please look at UG483 page 50.
http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/user_guides/ug483_7Series_PCB.pdf
You may need to run ibis simulation to validate your design.
Thanks,
Boris
