Is there an XPE tool for the Kintex 7 XQ7VX980T FPGA

Jump to solution

I am using an

XQ7VX980T

FPGA, and working on power consumption for the device. I am using the XPE tool to help with this, however I do not see an option for the type of FPGA I have. Does Xilinx make a power estimation tool for the

XQ7VX980T

FPGA?

It can be found by downloading the ultrascale XPE tool found here https://www.xilinx.com/products/technology/power/xpe.html,

then select the option Virtex-7. That is the correct answer to this question.

That is a defense grade Virtex part, not a Kintex.

@bruce_karaffa Thanks for the clarification. I chose the Virtex UltraScale option in the XPE tool spreadsheet however there is not XQ7 version under the device tree? Do you know if there is an XPE tool for the device version stated in my subject heading?
