PCIe on VC7222

Jump to solution

Good evening,

I need to connect the VC7222 board via PCIe with a PC.

Is it possible to use an FMC card with PCI extension on the VC7222 board?

Thanks for your time

PCI Express requires the use of the GT transceivers and all of those are routed to the Bullseye connectors on the board, so no you cannot use FMC card.

You need a SMA-to-PCIE card.  Xilinx did sell one of these, but I believe that we obsoleted it.
