Power consumption increasing factor over its aging span-of-life

Hi,

 

Using the Xilinx Power Estimator tool, we've obtained the total power of less than 5W for XC7Z045-FBG676 FPGA.   However, we'd like to know the estimated increasing power consumption factor due to its aging span-of-life for our regulator design.   Can anyone offer a suggestion?

Design of FPGA device uses,

Beginning and enmd of life foundry models (what it is expected to look like 30 years from now).

No issues or concerns with power.  That is Xilinx' guarantee.  You use their parts, forget the rest.  That is why FPGA devices are so successful (from those manufacturers who figured it out).

why do you think power will increase with age ?

We don't know for sure if and how much the interested Xilinx part will draw more power over time.   It's just something we want to confirm since some part in general can draw more power as it's aged and slowly becoming less efficient.   So we just want to have some margin, if needed.   Please let us know if that's not the case

Cant immediately see how the Xilinx part will become more or less efficient over time, its just silicon,
