Source-Synchronous Serialization/De-serialization using IOSERDES2

I have been able to find a couple of application notes, XAPP585 and  XAPP1064 which describe how to perfrom 7x de-serialization by using the IOSERDES primitive. However; in my particular application I am using a ZYN7000 device which has IOSERDES2 primitives instead.

Is there any application note that describes how to use IOSERDES2 primitives for 7X de-serialization? Or; is there any application note that describes how to port IOSERDES-based designs into IOSERDES2-based designs?

Hello Keith,

You are right. After looking into the actual reference design documents I realized that, even though the XAPP mentions IOSERDES, the reference design uses IOSERDES2.
