Is there a way to block readback of the program file once a Spartan3AN (XC3S50AN) has been programmed. Is the Spartan 3AN any more secure than a regular Spartan 3A or Spartan 6 because the flash is built in?
The datasheet states "bitstream anti-cloning protection". Where can I find more information about how to use that protection?
Having configuration flash memory inside the FPGAs is a great idea for security reasons and for many other reasons.I have often wondered why Xilinx stopped putting flash memory in their FPGAs after the Spartan-3AN.
