Unroutable connections to the GTHE2 primitive

Hi,

I want to use GTH in virtex-7 for implementing sata host controller. I create the gth core using core gen and instance it as a wrapper. i use a PLL_BASE Primitive for generate 150MHz clock as gth_refclk and connected it to the GT0_GTREFCLK0_IN pin of the wrapper. but after the PAR encounter to this error:

Route:436 - The router has detected an unroutable situation for one or more connections. The router will finish the rest of the
design and leave them as unrouted. The cause of this behavior is either an issue with the placement or unroutable placement constraints.
To allow you to use FPGA editor to isolate the problems, the following is a list of (up to 10) such unroutable connections:
Unroutable signal: gth_refclk pin: gth_sata_i/gt0_gth_sata_i/gthe2_i/GTREFCLK0
Unroutable signal: gth_refclk pin: gth_sata_i/gthe2_common_0_i/GTREFCLK0

can any one help me?

thanks

Re: Unroutable connections to the GTHE2 primitive

I think you need to connect the clock to GTGREFCLK input.

Are you using fabric clock as input to GT refclk for testing purposes? I am asking this because this use case is not recommended.
