Using the XADC module to read in-chip voltages

Jump to solution
Hi, I've instantiated an XADC wizard in my design and trying to read the Vccint and Vccaux. I'm getting reasonable results, although every readout gets the same result, making me suspect that the measurement is being done only once and keeping the same value. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

Problem solved! I was configured to work with a single channel, monitoring the temperature. Configuring to work with a Channel Sequencer and monitoring  Vccint and Vccaux solved the problem.

od,

Check if you are averaging.  Read the min and max values (those should change a bit before they too stop changing).  The temperature should change if you turn on a fan or block the heatsink airflow,
