What kind of thing can't design in xilinx

Can anyone kindly tell, what kind of thing can't design in FPGA and what are the limitations

Two big limitations:

 

(1) Analog circuits. FPGAs are digital, although a few have ADCs/DACs built-in. There is such a thing as a Field Programmable Analog Array (FPAA), although I've never used one.

(2) Very fast and/or large circuits. FPGAs are very much a "jack of all trades" - but the tradeoff is that they can't implement very fast or very large circuits. For example, you won't be implementing a 3GHz Core i7 on any Xilinx FPGA, and you won't be implementing a Geforce RTX 2080 (at any speed) on any Xilinx FPGA. However, for a specific task you may well be able to exceed the performance of the Core i7 or the RTX 2080 - at a tiny fraction of the power and heat output.
