please i need your support reggarding below:

I have XC6SLX9 is mounted on ESS ethernet smooth stepper CNC controller i got it from warp9td

i had overvoltage issue on the main power supply so please  how to make sure the microcontroller is ok?

in case need to replace the microcontroller please advice what if there is a new ording number for below microcontroller? 

because i can't find complete information in the selection guide

Generic way might be checking is the Chip/IC is heated or not while you power up it for small duration of time. If have then it might have issues. You may check the VCC/GND and other signal of Spartan 6 IC and identify. Xilinx people might suggest you on the debugging!

While , if you need to replace the existing chip by new Spartan 6 FPGA chip , you need to have bitstream or program for the board again. Is the board/system design by yourself? Basically FPGA is re-configurable chip, it doesn't have program while purchasing new, so you need to develop the program called "bitstream" for it to work. And for uploading the program the board must have the programming interface or port as JTAG/USB.

could you please guide me how to check the VCC/GND and other signal?

this is CNC control board and it's designed by Warp9 Tech Design

You can buy a replacement Spartan 6 here. However, if the voltage spike was enough to destroy that, it's also quite possible (likely, in fact) that some or all of the other components have been destroyed too. I suspect that the cheapest option here is going to be to buy a whole new board.
