what is the difference between ICAP and ICAPE2?

Hi,

I am interested in knowing the basic difference in new ICAPE2 configuration interface in 7 series FPGAs. What is the bandwidth - the max operating speed & data width?

How many configuration ports does the 7 series FPGA have?

Thanks,

I assume you mean ICAP_VIRTEX* vs ICAPE2?

Hasn't changed all that much. No more Busy in E2, CSB is now called CSIB (was CE in some previous version) and changes to encryption and autoswitching has been made. I belive the width default is now 32 cinstead of 8. Ports O, I CLK and RDWRB are the same (except default width). Frequency is identical to SelectMap.
