Forward compatibility in QDMA driver

Hello,

I understand that the QDMA driver is under rapid development.

Thank you for sharing this in the standard licensing agreement.

However, I would like to request that an effort be made to ensure forward compatibility between versions of the driver.

I've requested that a few changes to the header files be moved around in:

https://github.com/Xilinx/dma_ip_drivers/pull/109

They are to help people migrating from the 2020.1 driver to the 2020.2 driver.

I would be greatful if somebody from the technical team could review them and comment.

I understand that "organization" is often preferred when starting to write a new header file.

However inserting items within an enum really disrupts downstream applications that rely on consistency in constants.

This simple insertion isn't just a change, but a breaking change that stops us from smoothly upgrading and taking advantage of bugfixes in 2020.2.

If breaking changes are inevitable, it would be greatly appreciated if they are listed in the RELEASE notes.

Thank you for the consideration.

Best,

Mark
