Is there a step by step proceedure of interfacing PC and FPGA using PCIe for KC705

HI @rohithcs

 

if using linux , then lspci /setpci  system tools itself should do.

For windows 7 and 10  OS:
use RWeverything
https://rweverything.com/

 

Teldyne Telescan also is free and good to use
http://teledynelecroy.com/protocolanalyzer/pci-express/telescan-pe-software

Here in the mentioned link, It says PciTree does not work with 64bit windows, any work around for this?

also i am unable to figure out how to generate the mcs file, any help would be appreciated.

The commands mentioned in the pdf do not work but i am able to proceed till generation of bit file for the process.

@rohithcs I am not much aware of the workaround. Will ask a PCIe expert to look into this.

Hi @rohithcs,

 

I suggest that you use the IP named 'DMA Subsystem for PCIe'. It supports the FPGA device on your KC705 and you can utilize the provided Linux/Win driver to initiate DMA transfers between your host and the FPGA board.
