I'm using a SP605 board, and I've generated a .mcs file, that I loaded to the Winbond SPI Flash using iMPACT.
I'm not sure if I told SPI to load FPGA in x1 mode or in x4 mode (because I don't know how to set it).
When I set M0=1 and M1=0, and I turn on the board, FPGA must program itself reading from SPI Flash memory. It works, but it takes about 5 seconds. Is it a normal time?
I think it is too much time, but maybe it's normal. How can I be sure that my SPI flash memory is loading the FPGA in x4 mode?

I finally could program my FPGA from SPI Flash in quad mode. Now it is faster.

Sorry again for confusing the section. I wanted to post in "Xilinx Boards and Kits", because it was a question about sp605 board.
