Using xdma drivers on Windows, getting errors opening device

Hi,

I'm trying to use the XDMA drivers "out of the box" (downloaded from: https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/65444.html), however whenever I try to open 'h2c_0' or 'bypass', I get a "Error opening device, win32 error code: The parameter is incorrect.". This is using the Xilinx provided test program, "xdma_rw"

Am I missing something? This is on Windows 10, using a VU3P device. I can open a "file" to 'c2h' and 'control' successfully, so I'm guessing the device is there, and configured properly.

Thanks!

Mike

Re: Using xdma drivers on Windows, getting errors opening device

Hi @viggy

Are you using the latest windows driver from AR#65444?

Are you using .exe files in xdma_driver_win_2018_2\x64\bin? Have you tested using the other files such as xdma_test.exe
