we have the following XAPP to show how the V5 hardblock can be setup to support peer-to-peer connectivity.

http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/application_notes/xapp869.pdf

I personally do not recommend this.  I recommend using the Virtex-6 Root Port solution instead.  The V6 root port is documented much better.

Thanks a lot !

So my ml506 is the master and the ssd will be the slave

what about the connection medium that I need?

Is there a specific backbone that I should install these two boards on?
