BSCANs problem

hi all


my design use the jtag loader and chipscope the error occur in map process  because


Number of BSCANs:                       2 out of       1  200% (OVERMAPPED)


how can overcome this error?

Based on your previous thread I’ll assume that you are using a Spartan-3E device which only has one BSCAN primitive (Spartan-3E is no longer recommended for new designs). Both Chipscope and JTAG Loader make use of BSCAN so you really need to choose which of these tools you want to use. In the KCPSM3 design flow that means selecting the appropriate ‘ROM_form’ template when assembling your programs.


Newer products such as Spartan-6 have multiple BSCAN blocks so this issue is encountered when working with the KCPSM6 version of PicoBlaze (released in 2010).
