AXI smartconnect buffering

Jump to solution

What is the expected behavior of the smartconnect if I issue too many requests that they overrun the internal buffering? Are the respective slave ready signals supposed to go low to force me to wait until more space is available, or do I just get a SLVERR response on the bresp/rresp buses?

Hi,

Any AXI interconnect/slave, when it reached maximum acceptance, it de-asserts corresponding 'ready' signal.

And if this happens with the interconnect, the transaction may not reach the slave itself, depending on its implementation.

Ravi
