Block design

Jump to solution

Hi,

i'm designing my block design for my application,

said that i'm going to use a zybo7 board and my design requires to

control an external adc, external audio in/out codec, external dac, (all 3 SPI) , an external mux, zynq xadc, dram, bram ,uart.

i should use the following blocks:

zynq processing system, mig, bram generator, axi quad spi, axi gpio, axi uartlite, axi timer , xadc wizard.

Is that correct?

You won't need the MIG (the Zybo doesn't have any RAM that's directly-accessible from the PL, only the DDR that's attached to the PS). You may or may not need the AXI UART and AXI SPI; depending on where the devices are connected you might need to use the UARTs and SPI controllers built into the PS.

Hi,

thx for your reply, talking about zybo since i got multiple errors in vivado, i got to know that the board has an hardware errata, so i thought to go for a MYIR or a trenz platform.

Do you know of any issues with z-turn board or MYD-Y7Z010/20 for example?

i uploaded z-turn board files, but i get errors when using zinq ip .

also trenz TE0725 TRM is interesting for my project. Could you suggest me something else in that range?
