Hi, I am using ZC706 board and I have a requirement to run a ntp server on petalinux.
I dont want to use onboard rtc clock to derive time for ntp. Is it possible to give external 10 MHz clock to PS instead of the built in 33.3 MHz clock. I can send the clock from PS to PL side but did not find anything on using external signal to PS or any PL Clock to PS.
Otherwise , any way to lock the internal oscillator of PS to external reference.

Hi @prem_ranjan ,
Are you asking about PS reference clock source which ranges from 27 MHz to 66.66MHz. By default is 33.33MHz.
If yes, no external clock reference to PS is not available.
Could you tell what is the reason behind this requirement?

I believe Epson RTC-8564JE is the rtc while will be used to generate system time on petalinux based zynq system, which will be having more drift. In case if I could take external high quality OCXO as reference for generating system time, the frequency of synchronising the system clock would be less.
Epson RTC-8564JE is having its own 32.768 kHz crystal for timestamp generation.
