Speed grade selection for XC7Z045-2LFFG900I on Vivado

Hi,

I'm using Vivado 2016.2 and I'm trying to create a project for XC7Z045-2FFG900I.

For the industrial temperature range vivado made me choise only the -2L speed grande insted of -2.

What I got wrong?

The -2L (the L here stands for low power) is guaranteed to have the -2 performance even at lower power.

I presume the reason for the industrial temperature range is to make sure that the device still performs as expected under harsh conditions.

Hi @filippogiulianiintecs,

With 7-series, you can select the commercial grade (as per AR#38221)

Only the operating range will change between the commercial and the industrial grade.
