design size verification

Jump to solution
how can i find out how much resources i have utilized by using my design in XPS.
plus how can i find out the size of the program that i have developed.
when i select the get program size option XPS returns the message that there is no executable file and if i would like to build one but i does not do anything after that.

plus what should i do if my design exceeds my resources available.

Hi

The FPGA resource utilization information can be found in the map report.

As for the program size, the "get program size" command is the one. But you need to have an ELF file compiled first.
