I'm looking for a WiFi reference design with SDIO at Microblaze. Of course there is much in the Internet about Zynq solutions but in our design there is no need for high processor performance. The softcore shall only do the WiFi configuration while bulk data is handled by programmable logic.

Xilinx, being a chip manufacturer, I don't think they have such a "deep software" Ref Design. They offer software in order to prove their hardware.
What about porting any Zynq design to MB?
By the way... If you don't need a top performer processor, how about an external module so you get rid of the software hassle, for example those ESP32 modules?

thanks for your reply. Yes, we are just on that way to port a solution to MB (not necessarily Zynq solution). But it would be easier if someone had a ref design at hand.
The ESP32 is really a great device - but we are striving for low latency and high data rate. That's why we want to go with SDIO (even PCIe could be considerd).

Just an update: still looking for reference design. Might be easier to find with FreeRTOS.
