After varying the stack size, the code ran wihtout any rpoblems..

 

but, everytime i rerun the code the s2mm buffer value is changing though the input values are not changed.

why is this happening??

HELLO,

I am using vivado 2013.3 and xilinx sdk of same version.

I am also trying to run fft+zynq example on ZC702 board. I modified tcl script for zc702 as tutorial says.

now,

It run well enough if i keep my fft point length =2048. after that it fails. and got stuck. i increased satck and heap size. and debug it but for 4096 I found interrupt never gets generated.

if any solution please do share with me.

I stuck with same problem.

vivado 2013.3

sdk 2013.3

zc702

stack size upto 16mb

I am able to run fft upto 2048. But if I increase my FFT LENGTH then software hungs and I have to reset whole system.

I am unable to understand why interrupt is not generating for >2048.

Hello,

May be this can help since I had the same trouble (..2048 = ok then hang for 4096 points - no irq raised).

I had to fix my generated project at 'ctrl/axi_dma_0' :

  • in your block design, open 'ctrl' then double-click 'axi_dma_0',
  • check the value of  'Width of Buffer Length Register (8-23)' (WBLR) : it must be at least 16 bits to get 8192*4 bytes.

2048 points, the tx length is 4*2048=8192 bytes.

4096 points, the tx length is 4*4096=16384 bytes.

8192 points, the tx length is 4*8192=32768bytes.

 

The value of WBLR was 14 bits so 2^14-1=16383 bytes that is not enough for our 4*4096=16384 bytes.

Increasing the value to 15 bits and it worked with 4096 points but not with 8192 points.

Increasing the value to 16 bits and 8192 worked.
