IP core 8 bit divider help

could someone please help me on creating the following or where can I find resources to achieve and understand this?

program that given an 8 bit number, it generates the 3 digits BCD that represent hundreds, tens and units in it.

This program must employ in it's design an IP core to run divisions. To run a simulation of this program on the spartan 3e kit, an 8 bit number must be defined inside the program, and show the 3 outputs via LEDS, this using the interruptors (SW3, SW2, SW1) like this: if the input signal in the interruptors SW3,SW2,SW1 is 001, show the units, if it is 010, show the tens and if it is 100, show the hundreds.

Re: IP core 8 bit divider help

I would suggest meeting with your professor to discuss the requirements in more detail if you do not understand this or are looking for direction.
