Which 'interrupt' is my ticket (zynq)?

Hi all.
I'm trying to generate an interrput signal in PL and supply it to ARM cortex A9 processor in PS.

The interrput signal is just a single plus or something the same.
I find that there is two ways to generate interrput signal in PL:
(1) AXI GPIO: IP2INTC_Irpt,the axi_gpio IP core,Page 2, in ds744.
(2) AXI Interrupt Controller: Page 4, in ds747.

I'm puzzled which is my ticket.

In (1),It seems just if there is a transition occurs in any of the channel inputs, an interrput signal will output to the BUS.
It doesn't seems to meet my needs.
Am I correct?

In (2), it seems to  be the right one, but how can I  connect my interrupt source (logic in PL) to ARM A9?

Anyone help me? Thanks.
