XPS_HWICAP and CompactFlash

Hello everyone, I hope I'm posting this into the right forum.  If not, please let me know since I'm fairly new to the forums.

Anyways, here's my situation:

I have a design stored as a CompactFlash ACE file, using EDK 9.2 and an ML403.  The design includes an XPS_HWICAP component and a MicroBlaze processor.

When the software loads up, one of the first things it does is initialize the ICAP through the driver (LookupConfig followed by CfgInitialize).  My problem is that calling the latter function returns XST_FAILURE when it first starts. At which point, I can set the code to loop and never proceed until it gets XST_SUCCESS, and it'll just sit there.  If I press the soft-reset button, the CPU gets a reset signal, and comes back and ICAP goes just fine.  If I load the design via JTAG, I experience no problems.

It just appears to be an issue when the design is first loaded and executed off of Compact Flash.  Has anyone else heard of this?  I did a search before posting and didn't see it mentioned.  Thanks in advance!
