Zynq Vmode mio(8)

I have a board with no up/down on mio(8)(VMODE1)

Will mio bank 1 default to a particular bank Voltage or will it be totally unavailable?

if it defaults to one of the 2 voltage ranges(1.8 or 2.5-3.3) what would be the effect of having VCCO at a different level?

I have read the Zynq ug585 which gives the configuration  table but I need to know what is inside.

Re: Zynq Vmode mio(8)

Hi

What does the TRM say?

Is there a weak pull up enabled in the MIO register by default?

In either case this probably should be fixed on the board.

Re: Zynq Vmode mio(8)

The vias that went to MIO(8) pin was removed in the gerber file. So I can't configure bank 1's voltage.

I have no access.  I have already pulled up MIO(7).

I am running Bank 1 at 2.5V. and Bank 0 ar 1.8V

It looks like I can access ports on both banks though. I can see signals on each.

My concern is  damage  and whether power cycling will go to some other bank voltage and cause an issue.

It would be good to know if there is a weak pull up or down. But  the answer could be no, according to

the TRM  that says it could come up either way, and someone else responded on a different forum that said

if it is cold it would come up hi and warm low.

Hi kguzzino@jariettech.com

It looks like you have several threads asking the same question and got answers.

I think this thread should be closed.

Re: Zynq Vmode mio(8)

No reply really answered my question about what is inside the part.

If you want to close it go ahead. I'm not going to mark it as a solution.
