Re: sdl library porting on zc702

To add Libraries and Library paths in SDK, please refer to the link below:

http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2014_4/SDK_Doc/tasks/sdk_t_proj_libraries.htm

The eclipse based tutorial below will also help:

Re: sdl library porting on zc702

 Thanks for reply

i think adding library paths will work, when we run sdl or any library in the operating system,

but i am working on petalinux which is on sdcard,

tell me whether i need to compile library with arm linux gcc compiler and place in sdcard to provide path for project or

do i need to do any thing for compilation..

please suggest me

Re: sdl library porting on zc702

Are these libraries already compiled?

If you have pre-compiled libraries, you can check the following discussion:

http://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Embedded-Linux/Adding-pre-compiled-libraries-to-Petalinux-rootfs/td-p/501500

http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/55976.html

If not, you will need to compile these libraries using 'arm-xilinx-linux-gnueabi' toolchain. I have attached a document that describes the procedure to create a shared object file (*.so) using SDK.

You can also create the libraries in petalinux using petalinux-create command
