xilkernel on vivado

hello,

i'm new with xilkernel and looking for documentation, user guides or examples i found the lastest are from ISE 14.4.

Due the device I'm using I need vivado to implement the design but there is not any resource for xilkernel for vivado or I didn't found it.

Any help or advice for porting the UG758 to vivado?

Thanks,

regards.

Re: xilkernel on vivado

Xilkernel has been replaced by FreeRTOS for Zynq. This can be obtained at the link below:

http://www.freertos.org/Interactive_Frames/Open_Frames.html?http://interactive.freertos.org/entries/21706962-xilinx-freertos-port-for-zynq

Unzip the package and...

copy the freertos_zynq_v1_00_a into:

<XILINX INSTALL DIRECTORY>\ISE_DS\EDK\sw\lib\bsp

copy the contents on the sw_apps (freertos_blink_led and freertos_hello_world) folder into:

<XILINX INSTALL DIRECTORY>\ISE_DS\EDK\sw\lib\sw_apps

Now when you create a new Zynq BSP, toy will be able to choose the freertos bsp

Note: you can also add the bsp folder from the zip to the repository in your project, but

you will have to do this for every project.....

Thanks and Regards

Re: xilkernel on vivado

hello balkris,

I had read that in other post but the problem is I want to run xilkernell on kintex 7 devices without arm in microblaze.

So I imagine I have to switch back to ISE...

thanks.
