xcl_dependence attribute in SDAccel2016.3

Jump to solution

Hi All,

The UG1023 (v2015.1) document has explained how to use xcl_dependence attribute in an OpenCL kernel.

However, it has been removed from the UG1023 (v2016.3) document.

and applying the attribute to  a variable in the OpenCL kernel compiling with SDAccel 2016.3 gives error

I am wondering if this attribute is still supported by the latest version of  SDAccel for OpenCL kernel.

Thanks,

Mohammad

The xcl_dependence in 2015.4 had some issues when applied to OpenCL CL kernels. This is the reason why we took it out of the user guide. We will fix the issues in the 2017.1 release. Thanks for your understanding. Would it be possible to share your test case with us so that we can make sure the fix will also work on your test case? Thanks!
