Configuring HDMI i/o from scratch

I would like to adapt the Harris Corner file I/O project from the rEVISION getting started guide to process a live video stream using HDMI input and output. Im using the ZCU102 board. Could someone advise on this? And is there a user guide for video configurations like this?

There are quite a few examples out there with varying complexity for handling live video streaming. The MPSoC TRD is a prime (albeit highly sophisticated) example:

You could also look for Pynq board examples since that board has HDMI in/out ports. I think the base Pynq overlay design has support for HDMI:
