OC-192 and 10G BASE-R GTX transceivers in the same QUAD

In my Kintex 7 I am currently using two GTX transceivers at OC-192 rate (9.95328) with the QPLL driven by a 311.04MHz reference clock. I am looking into modifying this into  two possible approaches:

  1. Ideally, I would like to reconfigure just one of them to support 10G BASE-R rate (10.3125). Could the NIDRU be used to pass 10G BASE-R over a OC-192 transceiver?
  2. Alternatively, I would dynamically reconfigure both transceivers from/to OC-192 (using 311M reference clock) to/from 10G BASE-R (using a 156.25M reference clock):
    • Does someone have a list of all the parameters that need to be modified?
    • Would a reset be required after reconfiguration?
    • How big of a disruption would be caused?

you have to dynamically reconfigure the transceivers and switch them between OC192 and 10G baseR.

You can use this flow to identify all parameters for this design.

A reset is needed after reconfiguration.

Though I knew about the reconfiguration procedure, the link that you sent is helpful. I wish there was a friendlier method to compare between the attributes of two protocols, linked to a utility to load thru DRP. Would you suggest using the gt_Attributes utility?
